The easiest way to prepare for a cruises is to download the Royal Caribbean International/Celebrity Cruises/ Azamara app. Cruise guests will have the Cruise Compass with entertainment, activities, shore excursions and so much more, right there in their phones. The Guest Account and mobile apps are still a work in process, some features are not availabe on all ships. The app needs no WiFi to open, all functionality is available with the ships WiFi – free of charge.
Even for us, incidents may occur. An incident is a situation which has an impact on our ships and cruise guests. An incident can be a hurricane, dry dock accident, itinerary changes due to terror/political issues or strike.
In the event of an incident, our international and/or local incident team will contact the booked guest and travel partner as soon as possible. As soon as we are clear on how to manage the case in question, we will work hard to make sure both you as our partner and your guest are informed.
Example on how we handled changes caused by hurricane Dorian:
Step 1: Information was sent out by our international incident team in Miami. For Trade Partners bookings the information was sent to the email addresses given in Espresso. Very important to make sure that the email reaches the guest, always use the guests own email address.
Step 2: Our local incident team contacted Trade Partners to give them the updated information about the situation and what the next steps will be.

Please note! The deposit paid onboard is in USD so always less than the deposit required in normal booking situation due to exchange rates. Travel agent can decide whether to ask the remaining euros from the customer or take the risk that the cruise is cancelled and the deposit might not be enough to cover the cancellation fee and then ask for the remaining euros. We recommend to always make sure deposit is fully paid to avoid later situations if cruise is cancelled.
Online Check-in must be completed earliest 30 days and latest 4 days before departure date. Guest traveling to USA or through USA will also need to apply for ESTA (Electronic System for Travel Authorization). Also VISA is needed for some nationalities/cruises.

The boutique Azamara sails two 690-guest ships to fascinating places all over the world. Azamara’s Destination Immersion® features longer stays and more overnights in ports, often with port access in a destination’s city center. Guests have the opportunity to experience a destination fully, especially in the exclusive and bespoke AzAmazing Evenings events featured on every voyage. Azamara’s casual, friendly atmosphere makes guests feel welcome and appreciated.
Royal Caribbean International/Celebrity Cruises/Azamara cannot accept guests who will have entered their 24th week of pregnancy by the beginning of, or at any time during the cruise or cruisetour. Guests will be required to sign a Public Health Questionnaire which has a newly added statement that the guest is not 24 weeks or entering their 24th week of pregnancy during the cruise. A physician’s “Fit to Travel” note is no longer required prior to sailing, stating how far along (in weeks) your pregnancy will be at the beginning of the cruise and confirming that you are in good health and not experiencing a high-risk pregnancy.
Shore excursions can be booked in advance from Cruise Planner or onboard. Only some will be in sale in advance, and rest of the places will be for sale onboard.
Our selections of shore excursions is broad variety of diverse worldwide excursions for families, foodies, action lovers and culture seekers. We also offer accessible cruise guests.
Purchasing an excursion is completely optional, alternatively passengers can get to know the destination by themself. Cuba cruises are an exception.

If the booking is in offer status, the cancellation is free of charge. If you cancel a confirmed booking, our cancellation fees apply. You can find cancellation terms in confirmation invoice.
If you wish to make a change to a confirmed booking, you can contact our Contact Center (change fee may apply). Some changes are possible to do yourself in Espresso, for example change of dining option if the departure is not too close. If the departure date is less than 42 days away, you need to cancel the existing booking (cancellation fees apply) and make a new booking.

Please note, children are also allowed to stay in staterooms without connecting door, but they need to be next to or opposite parents.
Cruisingpower username and password will automatically be deleted if they have been unused over 3 months. If the username is deleted, the only option is to create a new one.
If the username is locked, only the user themselves can unlock the user by answering security questions.
We recommend you see our training videos if you have not used Cruisingpower (Espresso) in a while.

Travel documentation will be available in Cruisingpower when the cruise is paid in full. Usually 3 weeks before departure. The documents contain useful information and luggage tags for traveling guests.
Sometimes one needs a bit longer to decide on the cruise offer, in these cases you can try to extend the option by following these steps:

You can book family staterooms and suites in Espresso, the capacity is shown in stateroom details. The search will allow maximum 4 persons per stateroom, but can book all available staterooms, here is step-by-step instructions:

Pre and Post Hotels are available for most cruises. From 1 night up to 3 nights in our partner hotels, usually no less than 4 star options. Transport from hotel to cruise port or from cruise port to hotel is included when you book any pre or post hotel stay through Espresso.

If you see the error code “Booking is locked” it most often means that someone else is in the booking at that moment or has just been. Please wait a moment and try again.
See detailed information about possible obstructed view in stateroom details in Espresso, Staterooms. Remember always to check all information about the stateroom you are about to choose by clicking View Details. For example Celebrity Cruises Solstice and Millennium class ships 2C and 2D are always staterooms with a limited view.

Anniversaries and Birthdays
Enter booking in Espresso and add special services under Add and Special Services. The special services include a cake or another form of celebration in the main dining room on the given date during the cruise. Remember to Save All Changes.
All other special services need to be informed directly to our Contact Center – including accessible needs, specialty diets and honeymoons (complimentary package).
Please note! Honeymoon package (not available on Azamara Club Cruises) will only be added to the booking after marriage certificate has been sent to our booking department. Honeymoon package applies only to cruises made within 6 months of the wedding date.
Tranfers are availabe to most cruises, from the airport to cruise port and from cruise port to airport. Flight arrival and departure has to be on the day of cruise departure/arrival. It is important to have flight information available when booking transfers, make sure to check latest/earliest flight arrival time (transfer details are in Espresso).

Here is a quick guide and a reminder on how to book a cruise:
Step 1. Booking (option or confirmed) in Espresso
Option (booking offer): Booking is an offer status for X amount of days, during that time the reservation can be cancelled without any cancellation fee. If the option is not confirmed before the expiration day, the booking will be cancelled automatically.
Confirmed (confirmation): Deposit for confirmed booking should be paid at once. Payment details can be found in confirmation invoice. Cancellation terms apply in case of cancellation.
(Step 2. Confirmation (if the reservation is an offer) needs to be done latest on the option’s expiration day. Payment details can be found in confirmation invoice.)
Step 3. Final payment needs to be paid 42 days before departure date or at once if the cruise is booked less than 42 days before departure. If the booking is made within two weeks before the departure date, booking must be paid in full with credit card.
Please note! Final payment on Azamara cruises is 90 days before to departure.
Step 4. Travel Documents can be found in Cruisingpower – Booking Tools – Travel Documentation. Tickets will be available when the cruise is paid in full or latest three weeks before departure date.
Final step: The guest must complete online check-in

If you also book flights through us, the entire payment will be done at the time of the booking. Special rules apply when cancelling the flights; Royal Caribbean charges actual costs of the flights as cancellation fee. The costs may vary on different airlines. These costs are charged in all situations, also when the client cancels the trip due the exceptional circumstance. The guests are highly recommended to take a travel insurance before the departure and ensure the sufficient coverage.
Cancellation terms are similar as the cruise cancellation terms. Cancellations will be made in Espresso. We always recommend contacting to our flight department to cancel.
Refundable – if you add flights to booking offer
You must cancel flights before you can confirm the cruise if you don’t wish to book flights. If you confirm the cruise in Espresso, the flights will be confirmed automatically. Contact to our flight department to cancel.
Refundable – if you add to confirmed booking
If you wish to book Refundable flights to already confirmed booking, the guest will get 3 extra days to think before deciding. Contact to out flight department if the guest doesn’t wish to book the flights. Otherwise flight booking will be confirmed automatically.
Also please note: Flights to these following cruise options can not be booked in Choice Air.
